Show up when customers ask ChatGPT or Google's AI
More people now ask an AI assistant "Who's a good bakery near me?" or "Who can build a website in Jacksonville?" instead of scrolling search results. Those assistants pull from your website, your listings, your reviews and what other sites say about you. We help make sure the facts are clear, consistent and easy for them to find. Some call this AEO (answer engine optimization). AI answers lean on the same basics as search, so we do both together. See SEO & local visibility.
No one can guarantee you'll be mentioned. AI answers change by person, place and day, and these tools don't fully publish how they pick sources. What we can do is fix the things that are known to matter and show you, every month, what the answers say.
What is AEO, and how is it different from SEO?
SEO helps you show up in a list of search results. AEO helps you show up inside the answer an AI assistant writes. They overlap a lot: both reward clear pages, accurate business info and a good reputation. The difference is that AI answers favor content that answers a question directly, and they cross-check facts across many sites. So we do both at once, not one instead of the other.
How we do it
1. Business-facts baseline We write one approved list of your business facts: name, address or service area, hours, services, contact details and the way you describe what you do. Then we find and fix the places online where those facts conflict.
2. Answer-style service content Pages that answer the questions customers actually ask, in plain sentences near the top: what you do, who it's for, where you work, how to get started. Short FAQs where they help a reader.
3. Structured data that matches the page Behind-the-scenes labels (structured data) that tell search engines and AI tools, in a standard format, who you are and what you offer: your organization or local business, your services and the people behind them. The labels only describe what's visible on the page. There's no secret "AI schema," and we won't sell you one.
4. Crawl access and webmaster tools We check your site doesn't accidentally block the tools that read it, like Googlebot, Bingbot, OAI-SearchBot (ChatGPT search), Claude-SearchBot, Claude-User and PerplexityBot, and set up Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools so you can see what's being found.
5. Listings consistency Your details matched across the listings that feed search and AI answers: Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Apple Business Connect, Yelp and the directories that matter for your field.
6. Reviews and real mentions A steady habit of asking for reviews and replying to them, plus finding honest ways to be mentioned by other real sites, like local organizations, partners and industry groups. We don't buy links or promise any.
7. Question tracking We pick a fixed set of questions your customers would ask, like "best [your service] in Jacksonville, FL," and check them in ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Perplexity and Google's AI answers in Search on a regular schedule. It's a snapshot of what the answers said that day, not a ranking.
What the monthly report shows
A short, plain report each month:
- The questions we tracked, and whether you were mentioned in ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Perplexity and Google's AI answers in Search that day
- Which sites the answers pointed to, when they showed sources
- Any wrong or outdated facts about you we found, and what we fixed
- Listing and review changes since last month
- What we'll work on next
Because answers vary by person, place and day, we look at the pattern over months, not any single check. See retainers →
Why doesn't ChatGPT mention my business?
Common reasons we find:
- Your website doesn't plainly say what you do and where
- Your details differ across listings, so the facts are hard to trust
- Few reviews or outside mentions back you up
- Your site blocks the tools that read it, often by accident
- The question is very competitive, or the answer simply changes day to day We check each of these and fix what we can.
Local businesses in Jacksonville, FL
We're a veteran-owned business based in Jacksonville, FL, and many AI questions are local: "near me" or "in Jacksonville." We make sure your city, service area and contact details are clear everywhere, so assistants can match you to local questions. We also work with businesses anywhere in the US.
FAQ
How do I get my business to show up in ChatGPT?
Make your facts clear and consistent, publish pages that answer customer questions directly, don't block ChatGPT's search crawler, keep your listings matched and build real reviews and mentions. None of that guarantees a mention, but it's the groundwork that matters.
How do I get recommended by Google's AI Overviews or AI Mode?
Google's AI answers draw on Google Search itself: helpful pages Google can crawl and index, plus a complete, accurate Business Profile and reviews. Strong regular SEO is the base. That's why we pair the two.
Does AI search use my Google Business Profile or reviews?
Often, yes. Google says a complete Business Profile can help you show up in its AI answers. Other assistants use the listings and review sites they can read, but most don't say which. Accurate profiles and steady, genuine reviews help.
How long does it take?
Fixing your facts and pages can happen in a few weeks. Being picked up by AI answers takes longer and varies a lot, which is why we track it monthly instead of promising a date.
Can anyone guarantee AI mentions?
No. AI answers change by person, place and day, and these tools don't fully publish how they pick sources. Be careful with anyone who promises otherwise.
